The 1st Criminal Court of the District of Palmas is open to applications for citizens interested in acting as jurors in the Court of the Jury of the unit in the year 2026. The deadline for registration is until September 15th and it must be made exclusively by e-mail:
People over 18 years old, resident in the city of Palmas can apply. To sign up, you must send as attachments:
- Registration form duly completed, dated and signed (model available in the Single Annex of the Ordinance no 2.799, of 2025), which can be signed with digital certification;
- Scanned copies of:
- the official photo identification document (RG or CNH) and CPF;
- the updated proof of residence (issued no more than three months ago);
- the Certificate of criminal records of the State Justice;
- the Federal Criminal Record Certificate.
The applications will be evaluated by Judge Cledson José Dias Nunes, titular judge of the 1st Criminal Court of the Capital, who will verify compliance with legal requirements, suitability and absence of impediments to the exercise of jury function.
