In recognition of the essential role that hundreds of academics play in strengthening the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins, the Court of Justice granted an optional point to the trainees next Monday (August 18th), a date when the Day of the Trainee is celebrated.
The celebration was instituted by the Decree no 87.497, of August 18th, 1982, which regulated the old Law of Trainees, currently replaced by the Law no 11.788/2008.
The tributes to the trainees continue on August 25th, when the TJTO will hold a special event, with a lecture, in the auditorium of the Court, starting at 2pm, celebrating achievements and reinforcing the importance of the internship as an entry point for professional and personal development.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND TRANSPORT AID
In addition to the optional point and the commemorative event, the TJTO adjusted, through the Ordinance no 2476/2025, published in the Gazette of Justice no 5918, the value of the internship scholarship, which went from R$ 1,000.00 to R$ 1,260.00, and the transport assistance, which rose from R$ 200.00 to R$ 240.00.
The measure benefits 563 students working in the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and it is already in force. The new amounts for the month of August will be paid in the early September.
With these actions, the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins reaffirms its commitment on valuing talents and training future professionals.
