Nominated by Justice Marco Villas Boas, general director of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), the law Judge Rosa Maria Gazire Rossi, master in Judicial Provision and Human Rights, participated on July 24th and 25th, in the face-to-face stage of the course on "Citizenship and Justice are also learned in the School", promoted by the National School of the Judiciary (ENM) and held at AMB in the city of Brasilia.
Alongside Judge Márcio Soares, representative of the Presidency of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) and the Permanent Center for Consensual Methods of Conflict Resolution (Nupemec), the magistrate represented the state of Tocantins in the training conducted by Roberto Bacellar (TJPR), national coordinator of the program and by the Pedagogue Ernesto Erisvelton Rodrigues.
The methodology highlights the coordinator, emphasizes the training of multiplier agents for the dissemination of the program in schools through the performance of magistrates and courts. "We provide the repertory so that each magistrate who participates can review the contents taught. With this, we want them to make the program happen in their respective States", explained Roberto.
The initiative brings together magistrates from all over the country with the objective of training multipliers to implement, monitor and evaluate pedagogical actions and techniques to promote citizenship and access to Justice in schools. "The course provides the magistrates with the idea that it is possible to develop a social project, foster greater social legitimacy and produce a great enrichment for the children of the country," added Justice Roberto.
Created by AMB in 1993, the program on "Citizenship and Justice are also learned at school" has been developed in five stages, in a successful experience of awareness in which judges go to schools to spread important concepts about citizenship and stimulate reflections on constitutional values.
The experiences shared at the meeting dialogue directly with the actions of the program: EducaJus: Talking to Justice, developed in the state of Tocantins, of which Judge Rosa Gazire is coordinator.
In her testimony, the magistrate highlighted the transformative potential of the proposal by uniting the Judiciary and education around citizen training.
“In this harmonious and respectful union between the Judiciary and education, we were able to feel the potential of the course: the transformation of the future through the social making of the magistracy together with schools and the new generation. It was a unique opportunity for recycling, exchanges, new connections with other magistrates of the country", commented.
The training continues until July 29th in virtual format (EaD), focusing on the multiplication of the program in all States.
