Registrations for the fourth edition of the National Judicial Exam (Enam) open this Thursday (July 10th). The deadline is August 14th at 4pm. The exam is scheduled for October 26th in all Brazilian capitals, and registrations can be made on the FGV Knowledge page, the examining body for the exam.
When registering, it is necessary to inform the city where the exam will be held, fill in the required information and send the necessary documentation, including proof of graduation in Law. Postgraduate, master's or doctoral degrees will not be accepted.
People with disabilities or indigenous people must send supporting documentation when registering. Proof of acceptance of the self-declaration of a black person, issued by the courts of justice, can be sent until October 10th.
The registration fee is R$120.00 (one hundred and twenty reais); however, it is possible to request an exemption from payment until July 24th at 4pm. Payment must be made by August 15th.
About Enam
Enam is promoted by the National School for the Training and Improvement of Magistrates (Enfam) and it qualifies Law graduates to take public examinations promoted by the federal, labor, military, state and Federal District and territorial regional courts for the positions of judge.
The exam is eliminatory, not qualifying. Candidates who get at least 70% right on the test, in the case of broad competition, and 50% in the case of affirmative action candidates, will be approved.
The exam consists of 80 multiple-choice questions, with content on Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, General Notions of Law and Humanistic Training, Human Rights, Civil Procedural Law, Civil Law, Business Law and Criminal Law.
