Judges and civil servers of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins must activate two-step verification (2FA) for access to the institutional Google Workspace accounts by August 10th. The measure aims to strengthen digital security and protect functional data from unauthorized access.
The requirement extends to all users, even those accessing through computers linked to the GCPW (Google Credential Provider for Windows). After the deadline, accounts that do not have 2FA enabled will be automatically blocked.
To help with activation, the Directorate of Information Technology (DTINF) recommends using the Google Authenticator application and it has made available explanatory material with the complete step-by-step configuration.
Two-step verification is an extra layer of protection that significantly increases the security of institutional accounts.
