With face-to-face activities and simultaneous events, panels, technical visits and cultural presentations are being held throughout the programming of the event.
Highlighted to the lecture by Historian Lilia Moritz Schwarcz and the magna lecture by federal deputy Erika Hilton, the 5th ENAM addresses issues such as social justice, racial equity and the role of memory as an instrument of institutional transformation. In addition, the event promotes debates on the preservation of documentary collections, with special attention to historical processes linked to slavery and the struggle for freedom in Brazil.
Reinforcing the commitment of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins to preserve institutional memory, Justice Ângela Prudente emphasized the importance of memory as a permanent public policy in the Judiciary:
“Preserving the memory of the Judiciary means guaranteeing society the right to access its history, understand its institutions and strengthen the foundations of citizenship and democracy,” she said.
