
The Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) published the Ordinance No. 1.023/2025, which alters and redefines the calendar of holidays and optional points for the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins for 2025. The document was published in the Gazette of Justice on March 18th.
The ordinance establishes changes, such as an optional point on May 2nd and June 20th, as well as transferring the optional point and holiday from August 11th and October 28th to August 14th and October 31st, respectively.
With these changes, the calendar of the Judiciary this year now has 18 commemorative dates, including holidays and optional points.
In addition to the national and state holidays, the city of Palmas will observe its anniversary (May 20th). In the countryside, municipal holidays will follow the local calendar, while the magistrates will be in charge of defining the optional points, in accordance with the article 133 of the Complementary Law 10/1996.
