Taynã Quixabeira, An Egress Of The Master's Program In Judicial Provision, Presents Research At A National Event

As a result of scientific research with application in the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins, Taynã Nunes Quixabeira, an egress from the 10th class of the Master's Degree in Judicial Provision and Human Rights, presented the work on “Peacebuilding Circles in the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins (2016 to 2024): Diagnosis of the Technical Procedure to the Perception of Facilitators and Participants” at the 1st National Meeting of Women in the Restorative Justice, held in the city of Brasília-DF on March 20th.

The event, which brought together specialists, professionals and scholars in the field, aimed to promote debate and the exchange of experiences on the Restorative Justice, with a focus on the participation and protagonism of women.

The participation of Taynã Nunes Quixabeira in the event demonstrates the commitment of the Federal University of the state of Tocantins (UFT) and the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) to research and the dissemination of knowledge in the area of the Restorative Justice.

During the research and application, the researcher, supervised by Professor Patrícia Medina, investigated the application of Peace Building Circles in the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins, analyzing the technical procedure and the perception of the facilitators and participants. The study contributes to the improvement of restorative practices in the judicial system, seeking to promote a culture of peace and resolve conflicts in a more humanized and effective way.
