Esmat Announces Schedule Of Activities For March

This Friday (March 7th), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) released its schedule of courses and events for the month of March.

The activities of the first class of the course on FluêncIA (Fluence) on Artificial Intelligence began on March 5th. The training, held in the Virtual Learning Environment of Esmat (VLE), will continue until July 13th. The project, in partnership with Microsoft, aims to train participants in the use of Artificial Intelligence and its applications. Registrations for Class II will be open from March 10th.

The Training of Facilitators to Assist Victims of Domestic and Family Violence Against Women will take place from March 10th to July 16th. The target audience includes magistrates and civil servers from the Judiciary involved in cases with victims of domestic violence in the state of Tocantins, as well as professionals working in the Support Centers for Women, psychologists, social workers and pedagogues accredited by the Multidisciplinary Team Management Group (GGEM).

On March 11th and 12th, the WORKSHOP on Sustainability in Practice - waste management and conscious consumption of natural resources will be held. Coordinated by Justice Ângela Maria Ribeiro Prudente, the event follows the guidelines of the National Solid Waste Policy (Law No. 12.305 of 2010) and of the Decree No. 10.936 of 2022, which regulate environmental education in solid waste management.

Registrations are still open for the course on Environmental Law and Agrarian Contracts: Sustainability and Legal Practice, which will take place on March 20th and 21st. The aim of the training is to instruct magistrates and civil servers in understanding, applying and integrating environmental and agrarian legislation, with a focus on sustainability, conflict resolution and legal certainty.

The 6th National Meeting on Intelligence in the Judiciary (ENIPJ) will be held on March 26th and 27th in the auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO). Registrations are open until March 19th.

In addition to these, other activities will be held, such as the “Facilitation of Reflective Groups for Men who Commit Violence Against Women”, the courses on “Digital Evidence in Criminal Procedure”, “Socio-historical and legal aspects of adoption and its specificities”, among others.
