Tjto Launches Podcast To Combat Harassment And Discrimination In The Workplace

The Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) is launching a new podcast this Tuesday (February 11th) called “PODer (Power) of the Voice: Voices that echo against harassment and all forms of discrimination”. The project, which will run for six episodes from February of 2025, aims to promote reflection on harassment, discrimination and their consequences in the workplace and beyond.    

The general goal of the podcast is to promote respect for and the fight against harassment, discrimination and oppression in all its forms.  The project seeks to create a more welcoming, safe and healthy working environment, as well as encouraging dialogue on issues such as quality of life, well-being, equity and social justice.    

Presented by the president of the Commission for the Prevention of Moral and Sexual Harassment and all forms of Discrimination in the 2nd Level (CASSEDIO2G), Justice Ângela Issa Haonat, and the president of the Commission for the Prevention of Moral and Sexual Harassment and all forms of Discrimination in the 1st Level (CASSEDIO1G), Dr. Flávia Afini Bovo, the first episode, entitled on “Individual and collective labor disputes”, will be presented by Professor Murilo Braz Vieira, a labor lawyer and university professor with experience in Labor Law, Labor Procedural Law, Social Security Law and Constitutional Law.  

Murilo Braz Vieira holds a master's degree in judicial provision and human rights from the Federal University of the state of Tocantins (UFT) and the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat).  He is also Life Director of the Association of Labor Lawyers of the state of Tocantins (ATAT).    

About the Podcast

“PODer (Power) of the Voice” is an initiative of the Commission for Preventing and Confronting Moral Harassment, Sexual Harassment and Discrimination in all its forms of the TJTO. The project includes the participation of specialists in each topic addressed and it will be made available with accessibility in Libras and audio description.
