Tjto Calls On Magistrates And Civil Servers To Take Part In The Campaign On Santa Claus Of The Post Office

The Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), through the Coordination Office on Childhood and Youth (CIJ), is a partner in another edition of the Campaign on Santa Claus of the Post Office and it is calling on its magistrates and civil servers to get involved in sponsoring 196 letters written by children from the city of Palmas, 20 of whom come from institutional care homes in the capital.

The campaign

For 35 years, in December, the Brazilian Post and Telegraph Company has been promoting a social action whose main objective is to fulfill requests for Christmas presents made by children who live in poor communities or study in public schools. They write letters to Santa Claus, which are collected by the Post Office and made available both in branches and online. From there, anyone can choose one or more letters and commit to fulfill the requests. The Post Office is responsible for organizing the delivery of the presents, ensuring that Santa Claus reaches the children.
