Ecosolidary Fair Opens The Month Of August At The Tocantins River Palace

After another unforgettable beach season along the banks of the rivers that cut through the State, August will be in full swing. On Thursday afternoon (August 1st), the Tocantins River Palace, the building of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) in the city of Palmas, will host the 11th edition of the EcoSolidary Fair.

Between noon and 6pm, magistrates, civil servers, employees, trainees and visitors will find handcrafted products made from golden grass, crochet, macramé, personalized stationery, canvas painting, as well as cookies, roll cakes, naturally fermented snacks, among others, in the entrance hall of the Tocantins River Palace.

Sustainability 

An initiative included in the Sustainable Logistics Plan (PLS) of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, the EcoSolidary Fair is one of the actions that complies with the guidelines set out in the Resolution 400/2021 of the CNJ, in line with the United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda.

And through the Coordination Office of Socio-Environmental Management and Social Responsibility (Cogersa), the project fosters the development of small producers, encouraging sustainable production and the individual and collective engagement of members of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, as well as valuing the local and circular economy, promoting family farming and generating employment and income.
