Notice For The Second Edition Of Enam Is Now Available

The Notice for the second edition of the National Magistrates Exam (ENAM) was released on Friday, July 5th. The exam is regulated and organized by the National School for the Training and Improvement of Magistrates (ENAM) and it will have FGV Knowledge as its examining board. Registrations will be available from 4pm on July 15th until 4pm on August 15th. The exams will be held in all Brazilian capitals on October 20th. Access the ENAM notice.

Self declaration

Black, indigenous and disabled people must send documents proving their status via UPLOAD on the registration page. In the case of black people, it will be necessary to attach, by the last day of registration, the document issued by the Court of Justice of the State proving the request to carry out the hetero-identification procedure (sending proof of validated self-declaration in the period from September 9th to 12th) or the proof of self-declaration issued for participation in the first edition of the exam.

For indigenous people, it is compulsory to send the Administrative Register of Indigenous Birth (RANI) or a declaration signed by a community leader by the last day of registration. Following the same deadline, people with disabilities must send a specific medical report or certificate, issued by a medical board or professional, stating the type and degree of disability with express reference to the ICD code, as well as the probable cause of the disability.

If the guidelines set out in the Notice are not met by self-declared people in these three groups, they will be subject to the general eligibility criteria, i.e. they will be considered eligible if they obtain a score of 70% or more.

About the test

The assessment will follow the same pattern as the previous exam, with 80 questions on constitutional law, administrative law, general notions of law and humanistic training, human rights, civil procedural law, civil law, business law and criminal law.

The qualification is eliminatory and not classificatory, and IT is a compulsory stage for people interested in applying for public tenders to enter the judiciary. Created by the National Council of Justice (CNJ) through THE Resolution 531 of November 14th, 2023, ENAM seeks to ensure that selection processes for Judges value reasoning, problem-solving and vocation for the career. The period of validity of the qualification certificate is two years, extendable once for the same period, counting from the date of issue of the qualification certificate by Enfam.
