Magistrates and civil servers of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins can now apply for the 4th Minister Sálvio de Figueiredo Teixeira Judicial Management Award, which is awarded annually by the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins (CGJUS) to recognize successful practices within the First Degree of Jurisdiction that contribute to the modernization, speed and efficiency of the Judiciary.
Entries can be made until August 18th and awards will be given to innovative projects developed with the aim of increasing the quality of judicial services delivered to citizens.
The initiatives must be related to the following themes:
- Productivity
- Administrative Operational Efficiency
- Budget Management
- Transparency
- Planning and Strategic Management
- Sustainability and Accessibility, People Management
- Management of ICT
- Conciliation and Mediation
- Combat to the Domestic Violence
- Prison System
- Criminal Enforcement and Socio-Educational Measures
- Access to Justice and Citizenship
- Protection of Minority Groups
- other types of unit management.
"The main purpose of the Award is to provide public visibility to the people who created the projects, with the aim of introducing new practices into the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins that are extremely beneficial to the jurisdiction itself. This dissemination is essential so that fellow Judges and civil servers know about and can replicate these good practices in their areas of work, benefiting both the judiciary and society," said Assistant Judge Esmar Custódio Vêncio Filho of the CGJUS, who is responsible for organizing the award.

The 4th Judicial Management Award will be given out in the First Entrance, Second Entrance and Final Entrance categories. The evaluation of the registered practices will take into account criteria such as relevance, innovation, cost-benefit of implementation, results and humanization.
Judges and/or civil servers working in the units of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins can submit practices individually or in groups, in the categories to which they are linked, regardless of their employment relationship. Trainees may be part of the groups; individual participation is prohibited.
The award ceremony will take place during the 4th Meeting of Permanent Chiefs of Justice and the General Internal Affairs of Justice of the State of Tocantins (ENCOPE).
