Index of training promoted by esmat in 2021 ranks 1st among small courts, according to the balance of sustainability of the judiciary – CNJ

 

The actions planned in the Sustainable Logistic Plan of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins (PLS/PJTO), of training magistrates, servers and outsourced workers promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins, were highlighted in the 6th Sustainability Report of the Judiciary promoted by the National Council of Justice (CNJ). According to the document, among the small courts, TJTO ranked first, ahead of States such as Alagoas, Amazonas, Roraima and Mato Grosso do Sul.

According to the National Council of Justice (CNJ), the courts that carried out the most socio-environmental training actions in 2021 were the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) through Esmat with 229 actions, the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás (TJGO) with 144 actions, and the Superior Court of Justice with 110 actions. As for the number of participations in training actions in 2021, the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins counted on the number of 19,326, second only to the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás (TJGO).

According to CNJ, the socio-environmental training actions seek to sensitize and raise awareness among employees through courses, lectures, campaigns or other educational activities. This type of instrument is essential for the development of a new organizational culture aligned with socio-environmental and sustainable purposes.

 

Workshop

Held since 2020 in the distance learning modality during the critical months of the pandemic, as well as in a hybrid manner after the immunization process and the change in the distancing rules, the Workshop on Solidary Selective Collection - Training on solid waste - now in its eighth training stage - is a partnership between the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) and the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), through the Coordination of Socio-environmental Management and Social Responsibility (COGERSA).




Report

The report presents data from 118 bodies, among courts and judicial sections, divided as follows: 27 Courts of Justice (TJ), 27 Regional Electoral Courts (TRE), 24 Regional Labor Courts (TRT), five Regional Federal Courts (TRF), 26 Judicial Sections, three Military Justice Courts (TJM), two Councils, and four Superior Courts.

Agenda 2030

The course is aligned to the actions of the Court with the United Nations Agenda 2030, by contemplating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 1 (Eradication of poverty); 11 (Sustainable cities and communities); 12 (Responsible consumption and production); 13 (Action against global climate change); 14 (Life on water); 15 (Life on land); and 16 (Peace, justice, and effective institutions).
