The campaign to collect books, toys, clothes and bags of cement, promoted by the Library of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins, idealized by the librarian Silvânia Olortegui, resulted in many donations. With the union of the entire school team, TJTO employees, course students, library users, as well as family members, friends and the community, about 1.160 copies of literature, textbooks, comic books, among others, were collected.
After six months of campaign, hundreds of books were able to get into the hands of children and residents of the Miracema region. The librarian Silvânia Olortegui, representing the entire Esmat team, made the official delivery of the books and other donations to the “Alegria do Saber” tutoring school last Saturday (March 12th). On the occasion, a charity bazzar was held with all the clothes, shoes, toys and several accessories. The proceeds will be used for the School’s projects and expenses.
