Note of regret

Dismayed by the death of the journalist and writer Otávio Barros da Silva, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) sends its regrets for the departure of the noble historian. Last December 15th, the Institutional and Academic Council of Esmat awarded the journalist Otávio Barros with the Academic Merit Medal “Dr. Feliciano Machado Braga” for the relevant services rendered to the Academy and to the State of Tocantins, in the construction and rescue of our state’s history, as part of the project of editing the history and memory of the late scribe and joins friends and family in this stage of pain and recollection.
