On this Wednesday afternoon (June 7th), a round of talks was held with the theme on "Preventing harassment and fighting discrimination at work". The event was attended by the psychologist Thaís Moura Monteiro as a speaker.

Aiming to provide a deep reflection on the relationships and work processes experienced by the trainees, the round of talks focused on the promotion of healthy, trustworthy and dignified relationships in the institutional field of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins. The action was directed exclusively to the trainees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, aiming to offer them tools and knowledge to deal with situations of harassment and discrimination in the work environment.

The total duration of the round of talks was 4 hours, providing ample space for the exchange of experiences, discussions, and learning. The event took place at the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), providing a favorable environment for the active participation and interaction among the participants. During the round of talks, the trainees had the opportunity to express themselves and share their opinions and experiences related to the theme in question.

Yasmin Carneiro Oliveira, one of the trainees present, stressed the importance of this space to discuss positive and negative experiences in the work environment. "Having this space to be able to talk about the experiences, good and bad, as an intern is very important. To hear and to be heard, to know the limits that we cannot allow to be exceeded in the work environment brings a sense of collectivity and welcoming. In addition, these conversations open space for the creation of strategies and actions to combat harassment," she said.

Tabita Rafaela Alves Leite, another participating trainee, expressed the fundamental relevance of the event to clarify doubts and promote a culture of respect and safety in the workplace. "It was a valuable opportunity for us to approach this very important theme and promote a culture of respect and safety in our workplace," she commented.

Andressa Brito Carvalho, also present at the round of talks, highlighted the extreme importance of the subject addressed, especially considering that interns are a group vulnerable to harassment. She emphasized the importance of learning how to identify and deal with these situations, stressing that the guidance provided is essential for everyone.
