Registrations For The Competition On Substitute Judge Of The Tjto Ends This Thursday (March 20th)

Registrations for the public competition for substitute judge of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) ends at 4pm this Thursday (March 20th), Brasília time. Those interested in applying for one of the seven vacancies, in addition to the formation of a reserve list, must register exclusively on the website of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), the organizing body for the competition.

The registration fee is R$323.50 and it can be paid until March 21st. The salary for the position of substitute judge of the State of Tocantins is R$32,350.30.

To take up the post, you must be a naturalized Brazilian citizen, or have Portuguese citizenship in accordance with the Decree 70.391/1972, be under 65 years old, have a bachelor's degree in law, have practiced law for at least three years, be of good moral character and pass all stages of the competition.

The objective test is scheduled for June 29th, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Brasília time). The second stage, consisting of two written tests, a discursive test and a practical test, will be applied in two phases, with the discursive test taking place on a single day and the practical test on two days, scheduled for August 31st and September 1st, 2025. The written tests will be handwritten and black or blue ballpoint pens made of transparent material may be used.

The competition will be valid for two years and it may be extended for an equal period. More information is available at Notice 01/2025.
