Registrations Are Open For The Second Week Of Dialogues On Equality And Diversity

On November 17th and 18th, the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), through the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), held the second edition of the Week of Dialogues on Equality and Diversity. The programming, free and open to the public, will be developed in face-to-face format, in the auditorium of the TJTO, with simultaneous transmission.

The initiative seeks to integrate institutional efforts around racial equity, gender, sexual diversity, rights of traditional communities and accessibility, aligning with the guidelines of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and the commitment to trial processes involving historically vulnerable groups.

The opening of the event will be conducted by Judge Renata do Nascimento e Silva, coordinator of the initiative, with a lecture that proposes a reflection on the various meanings of equality and the urgency of promoting permanent dialogues on minority rights. Experts and representatives from different institutions, such as Justice João Marcos Buch (TJSC), Professor Rodrigo Ednilson (UFMG), indigenous Educator Eugislane Karaja, among others.
