Registrations Are Open For The 1st State Meeting On Precedents And Collective Actions Of The Tjto

On June 27th, the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins, through the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), will hold the 1st State Meeting on Precedents and Collective Actions of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO). The event will be held in a hybrid format, with face-to-face activities in the auditorium of the TJTO and live transmission to the Courts.

With a teaching load of 8 hours, the aim of the meeting is to promote a culture of precedents and expand mastery of the technological tools for managing them, as well as to encourage debate on class actions in the justice system.

The programming will include a keynote speech by Justice Sérgio Kukina (STJ), as well as six thematic panels that will bring together magistrates, specialists and Legal operators from all over the country to discuss issues such as: the role of the superior courts in the system of precedents, correctional action as an instrument of legal certainty, the use of artificial intelligence in the management of precedents, among others.

The event is coordinated by Judges Márcio Soares da Cunha and Manuel de Faria Reis Neto, and participation is open to the public.
