“For me, it was very nice to have this alignment with everyone, it was very important to reinforce the concepts of leadership, of always working with what we want to celebrate in the last days (of management) in mind.” This was the feeling expressed by the coordinator of Strategic Management, Statistics and Projects (Coges), Renato Gomes, at the end of the Start-up Workshop, held this Thursday and Friday (February 13th and 14th), to reinforce leadership among managers and strengthen the group in its quest to promote strategic management in the 2025-2027 biennium.
Like the Coges coordinator, other participants in the meeting highlighted the importance of the event for the good performance of work at the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) over the next two years. The meeting was mediated by Professor Ricardo de Cerqueira.
Present at the end of the activities, Jutices Jacqueline Adorno, vice-president of the TJTO; and Marco Villas Boas, general director of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), which promoted the workshop, congratulated the president of the TJTO, Justice Maysa Vendramini Rosal, on the initiative.
“I found this idea very interesting, because getting to know each other as a team makes everything work better. Behind every manager there is a human being. So it's an opportunity for one human being to see another human being, to see that within each specialty, no one has the obligation to know the specialty of the other, but they do have the obligation to look at the other with empathy,” said Justice Jacqueline Adorno, stressing that ‘a strong team is one that supports each other’ and that this way, everyone can move forward. “Be leaders”.
For Justice Marco Villas Boas, it's good to start the administration with this “kick-start”. He said this in reference to the workshop, highlighting the importance of the meeting and the good relationship among the team, of forming a group committed to the values of the Court. On the occasion, the director of Esmat spoke about the work of the School of the Judges in institutional improvement.
Results
The president of the TJTO, who took part in the entire programming, expressed her satisfaction with the results that the workshop brought to the team. “It's important for us, because we needed to get to know each other in order to think about management. I really believe in the strength of each one of us,” she said.
On the occasion, Justice Maysa stressed that the whole team is committed to do a good job. “The challenge is great, but with the participation of everyone, I feel more confident about continuing the work. I want to pass through the presidency to bring people a better quality of life. I want to work and leave my legacy,” she said.
