The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) and the Permanent College of Directors of State Schools of the Magistracy (Copedem) promote, on October 14th, 2024, the Seminar on "Disruptive Technologies and Legal Security in the Era of Generative AI", which will take place at the Royal Tulip Brasilia Alvorada Hotel in the city of Brasília. The hybrid event will bring together important names of the legal and academic scene, such as Minister Benedito Gonçalves, of the Superior Court of Justice, and Justice Marco Villas Boas, President of Copedem and General Director of Esmat, to discuss the challenges and opportunities that disruptive technologies, especially artificial intelligence, bring to the legal sector.
Among the topics that will be addressed are Litigation Finance as a tool to promote efficiency and justice, the Application of AI in the Health Sector and Regulatory Care, as well as a review of the regulatory mark for superior education and training in AI for the Judiciary.
The panels will include the participation of Ministers of the STJ, renowned lawyers, entrepreneurs and prominent academics, such as Minister Ricardo Villas Bôas Cueva, Professor Jair dos Santos Júnior and Lawyer Ricardo Feijó. Topics such as digital games and their new technologies, regulation and education in the betting sector will be discussed, as well as lectures on the impact of AI in the Brazilian Judicial System and the importance of Technical Training for the Digital Transformation of the Judiciary.
