President Of The Brazilian Association Of Psychiatry Will Give A Lecture On The Importance Of Self-Care In Mental Health

The president of the Brazilian Psychiatric Association (ABP), Antônio Geraldo da Silva, will give a lecture on the importance of self-care in mental health and suicide prevention on September 26th, from 2pm, in the auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO). The event will be broadcast live on the virtual platform of Esmat for those registered who do not reside in the city of Palmas (Brazil).

May register magistrates and servers of the Judicial Branch of the State of Tocantins, members and servers of the State Prosecution and Public Defender’s Office of the State of Tocantins; magistrates and servers of the TRE-TO; academics of the medical course of UFT and AFYA (former ITPAC) who are studying the discipline of Psychiatry; academics of the course of Psychology of the Federal University of the State of Tocantins (UFT), Ulbra and Fato that have already completed the basic cycle of the course; and community in general.

The lecture will not only contribute to demystify suicide, but also serve as a space for awareness about the importance of mental health, the identification of warning signs and intervention strategies.
