This Tuesday (September 19th), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) opens registrations for the Week on the General Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD). The activities are scheduled for September 27th and 28th, and will address crucial issues related to the protection of personal data. The event will take place in person in the auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) for those registered in Palmas and, simultaneously, it will be broadcast live for participants registered in cities in the interior of the State of Tocantins and other regions.
Programming
The opening ceremony of the event will be attended by Justice Etelvina Maria Sampaio Felipe, President of the TJTO, and Justice Pedro Nelson Coutinho, President of the Body in Charge of Personal Data Protection.
The Week is divided into two actions: the first, on the 27th, focusing on data protection within the Judiciary, and the second, on the 28th, on data protection in notary and registry services.

Target audience and vacancies
Both events are open to the public and 1,350 vacancies are being offered, with 350 for face-to-face participants and 1,000 for online registrations.
Workshop for Magistrates and civil servers
On September 27th, at 2pm, Esmat will host the LGPD Workshop: Theory and Practice for Judiciary Judges and Civil Servers. The workshop will include two workshops given by speakers from the Court of Justice of the State of Santa Catarina.
