Registrations Are Open For Symposium On "Law And Health: Focus On The Judicialization Of Health”

On June 30th, starting at 9am, the Symposium on "Law and Health: focus on the Judicialization of Health" will take place. The event, which will be held in the auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, will be attended by Justice Angela Ribeiro Prudente, vice president of the Court of Justice, and Justice Pedro Nelson de Miranda Coutinho.

Throughout the day, seven lectures will be held with themes relevant to the context of Health Judicialization. Among the subjects to be addressed are: "Technical and Legal Trends in the Judicialization of Health"; "The patient as the focus of care: family/multidisciplinary team/operator/judiciary interfaces"; "Special therapies in the context of supplementary health"; and "The reality of the judicialization of supplementary health and the mechanisms that regulate the system". With 300 vacancies available, the event is aimed at Judges and employees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, managers and employees of the health plans that serve the State of Tocantins, managers and employees of the State and Municipal Health Secretariats, health professionals who work in the Supplementary Health, as well as Prosecutors, Defenders, and lawyers who work in the area of the Supplementary Health.

With a certification workload of 8 hours, the Symposium will be held in person at the Auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, providing a suitable environment for discussion, reflection and critical analysis on the judicialization of the Supplementary Health.
