Starting this Friday (October 7th), registrations will be open for one of the largest gatherings of scholars, researchers, and professionals from Brazil and other countries in the world to discuss possible preventive strategies to confront current and future threats to human rights.
Promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), since 2012, and organized by the Master's Program in Judicial Provision and Human Rights in partnership with the Federal University of the State of Tocantins (UFT), the XIV International Congress on Human Rights, with the "The Protection of Human Rights in War and Pandemic Scenarios" theme, takes place from Wednesday to Friday, from October 19th to 21st, 2022.
After two years since the beginning of the pandemic, the Event returns to the face-to-face, having the Auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, the Auditorium and the Classrooms of Esmat as the rooms for the activities. The Congress will also be broadcast simultaneously on the channel of the School on YOUTUBE.
Two thousand vacancies are being made available for public servers, magistrates, interns, and employees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins; students, professors, professionals, and members of the Brazilian justice system, and members of the community in general.
With 20 hours, the programming is distributed among conferences, panels, workshops and other dynamics. The event is free of charge and it will feature renowned speakers from Brazil, Hungary, Turkey, Egypt, the United States, Mexico, Spain, England, Bolivia, and Mozambique.
In addition, on October 17th and 18th, four workshops on Human Rights will be held. However, please note that it is necessary to register separately for the desired activities.
The Congress aims to provide the professors and students of the Professional and Interdisciplinary Master's Degree Program in Judicial Provision and Human Rights and the community in general with the opportunity to understand the reflections and studies on global and current issues in human rights and their correlation with the practical activity of judicial provision.
