The I Seminar of Human Rights of the Military Police has the support of the Judiciary and Esmat

With the proposal of approaching the Human Rights theme from an academic, reflexive and pragmatic perspective, with the active participation of society, aiming at the discussion of good practices for the application of the state public security management, the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, through the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), and the Military Police of the State of Tocantins (PMTO) will hold, on November 17th and 18th, the 1st Seminar on Human Rights of the Military Police, with the theme on  “Police activity and integrated and integrative public security policies”. The event will be held in the auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, in the city of Palmas, with simultaneous broadcasting via the YOUTUBE page of Esmat. Attendance in person is required for those who live in Palmas.

Two thousand vacancies are being offered with hybrid participation (presential and distance learning). The Seminar is aimed at civil servers, magistrates, interns and employees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, students, professors, professionals and members of the Brazilian justice system and members of the community in general.

The action aims to provide participants with the opportunity to reflect on and study Human Rights from an interdisciplinary point of view. The program will include lectures given by doctors, masters, and specialists working in the fields of Security and promotion of Human Rights in Brazil.
