Esmat promotes simultaneous events of debates on Restorative Justice

Addressing topics such as Peace building in the school environment, The applicability of restorative justice in domestic violence contexts as well as in criminal courts and penal execution, took place, this Friday (18th), the V Restorative Justice Seminar and the IV Meeting of the Restorative Justice Facilitators, promoted by the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, through the NUPEMEC (Permanent Center for Consensual Dispute Resolution), in partnership with ESMAT (Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins).

Taynã Nunes Quixabeira, a public server of the TJTO, gave the first lecture on "Restorative Justice and Education: the Importance of Peace Construction Circles in the School Environment", mediated by Judge Silvana Maria Parfienieuk, coordinator of the Permanent Center of Consensual Methods of Conflict Solution (NUPEMEC) and the Judicial Center for Conflict Solution (CEJUSC), in Palmas county. 

In the second moment, the Doctor Professor Juliana Tonche talked about the "Application of Restorative Justice in Domestic Violence Contexts".

The third and last lecture, mediated by Magistrate Ciro Rosa de Oliveira, coordinator of the Judiciary Center for Conflict Solution (CEJUSC) from the judicial district of Porto Nacional, was given by Magistrate Antônio Dantas de Oliveira Júnior, from the 2nd Criminal Court of the judicial district of Araguaína, who spoke about Restorative Justice in Criminal Courts and Penal Execution".

With the participation of approximately 150 people and with participants from the States of São Paulo and Paraíba, the simultaneous events took place in the Distance Learning modality, through the Google Meet Platform.
