Registrations Are Open For The Course On Monitoring Decisions Of The Inter-American Human Rights System

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) opens, on this Monday (April 6th), the registrations for the course on "Monitoring Decisions of the Inter-American System of Human Rights", which will be held from May 4th to 24th, in the semi-presential mode, with a workload of 20 hours per class. The training is aimed at magistrates and civil servers of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins.

According to the Notice no. 051, of 2026, the goal of the training, coordinated by Judge Wellington Magalhães, is "analyze the functioning of the SIDH*, with emphasis on mechanisms for monitoring and compliance with the decisions of the Commission and the Inter-American Court, promoting critical reflection on its application in Brazil and strategies to strengthen its effectiveness within the Judiciary."

Registrations can be made until April 17th by clicking on this link. In all, 40 vacancies are being offered, distributed between 25 for magistrates and 15 for civil servers of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins.

The programming will be developed in two modules. The first, in person, will take place on May 4th, at Esmat, with the theme on "Implementation and Monitoring of Decisions of the Inter-American Human Rights System in Brazil", under the leadership of Doctor Professor Judge Roniclay Alves de Morais.

The second module will be held in EaD (Distance Learning) format, with activities in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) and a synchronous web class on May 8th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with Doctor Professor Valério de Oliveira Mazzuoli.
