Course On Arming And Shooting For Protection Of Authorities Is Completed With The Fifth Class

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) closed on Tuesday (Dec 2nd) the activities of the Class V of the course on Arming and Shooting Applied to the Protection of Authorities, concluding the cycle of five classes promoted between October and December this year. Aimed at military magistrates and police officers of the Military Advisory Board of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), the training focused on the proper, responsible and legal use of firearms in the context of protecting authorities. 

With a workload of 12 hours per class, the course was developed in a face-to-face mode, with a theoretical stage at ESMAT and a practical stage at the Shooting Club of the city of Palmas. In all, 100 vacancies were made available, distributed among the five classes: Class I, held on October 27th and 28th, was intended exclusively for magistrates; Classes II, III, IV and V, held respectively on November 3rd and 4th, 17th and 18th, 24th and 25th, and December 1st and 2nd, contemplated military police of Asmil nominated by the Presidency of the TJTO.

Coordinated by Judge José Ribamar Mendes Júnior, the course sought to strengthen the institutional security of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins. The instruction was conducted by professionals specialized in weaponry and shooting - Zilomar Santana de Souza, Danyllo Cordeiro de Macedo, Bruno Brito Mota and Tadeu Franklin Barbosa de Moraes -, who acted in the theoretical and practical stages in all classes.
