The management of judicial units came on the agenda this week at the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT). It began yesterday, Monday (Dec 1st), the course on "Training on Data-Based Judicial Management ", which continues with daily classes until Friday (Dec 5th), meeting magistrates, advisors and heads of Secretariat of the 1st Degree of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins.

The training is promoted by Esmat, in partnership with the General Internal Affairs of Justice (CGJUS), and it focuses on the preparation and implementation of the Annual Management Plan of the units, according to the Provision 2/2023/ CGJUS. In practice, participants learn to use statistical data, Business Intelligence (BI) panels and performance indicators to diagnose the reality of the unit, define priorities and plan actions strategically.

According to the judicial analyst Adriana Reis Dutra, head of the Monitoring Division of Goals and Indicators (DIVMON/CPLAN/CGJUS-TJTO), who teaches the module on data and BI panels, the course was designed to be applied essentially to the day by day life of the units:

"The proposal consists of a practical course, in which the students will have the opportunity not only to know the tools that can help in the diagnosis and evaluation of their legal data, but also collect them, extract them and analyze them," she explained.

In the course of the activities, the participants will organize goals, actions and deadlines, already thinking about the document that needs to be formally sent to the General Internal Affairs in this month of December.

“Planning is optimization of time and resources, it is quality of life, and the General Internal Affairs is concerned with the quality of life of all members of the Judiciary", added Adriana.
