On Friday (Nov 28th), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) concluded the course on “Elaboration of Terms of Cooperation, Instruments and Covenants,” with a total workload of 16 hours and aimed at civil servers from various units of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins who work directly in related areas.
Taught by accountant and public accounting specialist Raimundo Nonato Almeida Pereira, the course integrated institutional actions aimed at strengthening administrative governance and improving the planning, execution, and accountability processes related to cooperation instruments.
Over the two days of activities, participants studied essential topics to modern public management, such as applied legislation, budget guidelines, project development, work plans, technical and financial analysis, contracting processes linked to agreements, as well as rules for supervision and accountability.
According to civil server Diego Gonçalves Santana Borges, the training is essential to improve the work carried out by the sector.
"It is important to note that the course provided civil servers with knowledge of the procedures necessary for formalizing agreements with federal agencies that involve financial compensation. This will be of great help to the civil servers of the TJTO in future agreements with these agencies, such as the Ministry of Justice and the National Council of Justice," he said.
Practical aspects related to the decentralization of resources, counterparties, terms of reference, documentation, plan adjustments, addenda, extensions, and case law from oversight bodies were also discussed.
