The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) will hold, on November 7th, from 8am, the face-to-face course on "Application of the LGPD in Judicial Decisions". The training is directed to magistrates, civil servers and operators of different organs of the Justice System.
Coordinated by Justice Jacqueline Adorno de La Cruz Barbosa, current vice president of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) and president of the Permanent Committee on Institutional Security (COPESI), the course aims to train the participants for the critical and reasoned application of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) in judicial decisions and administrative practices.
With an 8-hour class load, the content will be taught by Professor Danilo Menezes de Santana, PhD in Legal and Social Sciences and specialist in Personal Data Protection. Judicial analyst of the Court of Justice of the State of Bahia (TJBA), Danilo has already held positions as undersecretary, sub registrar, director of Court Secretary, assessor of judge, chief controller and currently he is legal advisor of justice and he is in charge of the Personal Data Protection of the TJBA.
The programming, which will take place throughout Friday at ESMAT, will address topics such as: LGPD and the Consumer Protection Code, Data Protection of Vulnerable Groups, Civil Liability, Right of Opposition and Jurisprudence of Superior Courts.
There will be 40 vacancies available, with priority for civil servers of the offices of justices, the General Internal Affairs of Justice, the Presidency and other Directorates of the TJTO, as well as representatives of the State Prosecution, Court of Auditors and State General Attorney. Unfilled vacancies may be redistributed according to demand.
