Course On Foundations Of Judicial Calculations Is Closed With Focus On The Practice Of Advisors

It was completed on Wednesday (October 15th), the course on "Foundations of Judicial Calculations", aimed at legal advisors of 1st degree of the Civil Courts, Public Treasury and Special Courts of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins. With a workload of 16 hours, the training began yesterday morning (14/10), in face-to-face format.

Focusing on the practical performance of the participants, the course addressed topics such as Monetary Update, Legal and Conventional Interest, Procedural Expenses and Interpretation of Spreadsheets and Accounting Opinions. The activities were conducted by Accountant Niely Talles Tavares de Sá, specialist in Management of the Judiciary, who acts as a secretary of the Unified Judicial Accounting of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO).

The course was structured to enable the participants to identify, understand and interpret the main technical and legal bases of judicial calculations, allowing a more accurate performance in support of the jurisdictional activity, understanding the importance and the effects of judicial decisions on judicial calculations and the effectiveness of judicial provision.

During the classes, participants also discussed strategies for detecting inconsistencies in spreadsheets, critical analysis of accounting data and integration between the legal and accounting sectors (essential aspects to ensure safer, consistent and effective judicial decisions).
