Participants Highlight Practical Impact Of Course On Google Workspace

Even before the official closing of registrations, scheduled for the end of October, all the 150 vacancies of the self-instructional course on "Getting to know Google Workspace: Online Collaboration and Cloud Storage" have already been filled. The training, promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) and available until November 15th in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA), has proved to be a valuable tool to promote more digital autonomy and productivity in the work environment of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins.

Divided into seven modules, the course presents the functionalities of Google Workspace in a practical way and contextualized to the institutional routine. Magistrates, civil servers and collaborators learn from the basic use to online collaboration strategies, integrated communication and cloud storage, with the guidance of facilitator Denis da Silva Passos, Master in Computational Modeling of Systems and specialist in Teaching in Informatics.

More than 45 participants have already completed the course and issued their certificates. In the testimonials, the perception is that the content breaks technical barriers and facilitates the conscious use of digital tools.

“The course was great and allowed to explore the tool in a wide and fully applicable way in daily tasks. Professor Denis was quite didactic and presented a range of resources that I did not know yet, despite already handling Google Workspace. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the training", said Brunna Gonçalves, technical and legal advisor of the Directorate of Information Technology (DTINF) of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO).

For Allan Moraes, legal and administrative advisor at the General Internal Affairs of Justice (CGJUS), the experience was also positive: "The content is very well structured and directly applicable to the daily activities developed in the Court. Goes beyond the simple presentation of tools – it demonstrates, in practice, how to optimize communication, collaborative work and organization of documents. I strongly recommend".

Another participant, Alecsansdre Alves Oliveira, from the Strategic Planning and Projects Advisory of CGJUS, highlighted how training has changed his relationship with technology.

"I met the tools and saw that they are not a seven heads. The course is highly self-instructional. The cool thing is that the professor will explain and taking us directly to the icons, how to do, can download the class to watch offline, after you did all the tasks. What caught my attention most was that it transformed my view of the tool. Of course it is a culture that we are building, but it really unlocked the difficulty I had in using the tool", he shared.
