
The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) has registrations open for the course on Defensive and Evasive Driving, aimed exclusively at magistrates, military members of the Military Advisory of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), drivers of justices, drivers of the Presidency of the TJTO and drivers of the General Internal Affairs of Justice (CGJUS). The training takes place in three classes, on days:
- Class I – October 21st
- Class II – October 22nd
- Class III – October 23rd
With an 8-hour class load per class, the course aims to train participants in the development of defensive and evasive tactical driving techniques, promoting safety, accident prevention and effective response in risk situations. The proposal combines theoretical contents and practical activities, ensuring more control of the vehicle in operational and urban contexts.
The theoretical classes will be taught at Esmat, while the practical stage takes place in the Rubens Barrichello Kart racing circuit, in the city of Palmas. The activities are coordinated by Judge José Ribamar Mendes Júnior and they have experienced instructors. The programming includes slalom maneuvers, emergency braking, peripheral vision, riding techniques, steering ergonomics, mirror adjustments and other essential procedures for safe and strategic operation.

The participants of Class II (military members of the Military Advisory of the TJTO) and Class III (drivers of the Presidency, the General Internal Affairs of Justice and judges will have their registrations carried out by means of nomination of the immediate chief, according to the procedures defined in the SEI (Electronic Information System) no 25.0.000018951-3.
