Esmat Opens Registrations For The Second Class Of The Course On “Criminal Sentencing In Practice”

In the first week of June, from the 2nd to the 5th the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) will hold the second class of the course on “Criminal Sentencing in Practice”, in person. The training, coordinated by Judge Wellington Magalhães, is aimed at advisors to magistrates in the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and it will offer fifty places.

Registrations run until May 21st and they can be done by clicking here. Interested parties should check the notice for more information on the distribution of places and the payment of daily rates.

The training focuses on improving the drafting and analysis of criminal sentences, covering everything from the technical structure of the sentence to aspects such as legal reasoning, sentence dosimetry and case law from the superior courts.

The professor in charge will be Yuri Anderson Pereira Jurubeba, who holds a PhD in Law from PUC-Rio and specializes in Criminal Sciences and Judicial Management.
