
The National Council of Justice (CNJ) launched on Tuesday (April 22nd), self-instructional training for the use of the Codex, a tool that provides processes and documents in real time, promoting greater transparency in the Brazilian judicial system.
Aimed at magistrates and servers of the Brazilian Judiciary, the Codex course - Training for Use is now available on the distance education platform of the CNJ, the Center for Training and Improvement of Judicial Servers (Ceajud).
The training is divided into six modules, with a total workload of 5 hours. The content introduces participants to the functionalities of Codex and Data Lake, as well as addressing technical contents and good practices for the use of the Codex.
About the training
The training is practical, does not require prior knowledge of the system and it is divided into a business module and technical modules on the installation and configuration of the Codex.
To receive the certificate, the student must attend the recorded classes and achieve a minimum grade of 70% in the final assessment.

- Fill in the registration and click on "Create my account”;
- Access the same link indicated above with the registered CPF and password; and

Codex and Data Lake
Developed by the Court of Justice of the state of Rondônia (TJRO) in partnership with the CNJ, the Codex consolidates procedural data and provides the textual content of documents and structured data, essential for the management of judicial information.
Data Lake is a centralized repository of procedural data, sourced from several sources, including Codex. Currently, it stores more than 315 million cases of the Brazilian Justice.
Trainings of the Justice 4.0 Program
Since 2022, CNJ has been offering distance learning courses under the Justice 4.0 Program. Among the highlights are training on the National Bank of Criminal Measures and Prisons (BNMP 3.0), Electronic Judicial Domicile, National Asset Management System (SNGB) and Sniper tools, as well as training in Java for the Digital Platform of the Brazilian Judiciary (PDPJ-Br).

Justice 4.0 program
Launched in 2020, the Justice 4.0 Program is the result of a cooperation agreement signed between the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), with support from the Federal Justice Council (CJF), the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), the Superior Labor Court (TST), the Superior Council of Labor Justice (CSJT) and the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). Its objective is to develop and improve technological solutions to make the services offered by the Brazilian Justice more efficient, effective and accessible to the population, as well as optimize the procedural management for magistrates, servers, lawyers and other actors of the justice system.
