
The first WEBCLASS of the course on Training Facilitators to Assist Victims of Domestic and Family Violence Against Women was held on Wednesday (March 12th). Developed by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), the training is coordinated by Judge Cirlene Maria de Assis Santos Oliveira.
The first meeting had the theme on “Understanding Domestic Violence: motivations, psychosocial aspects and consequences for victims and family members” and it addressed mistreatment and violence in relationships, as well as discussing issues related to treatment.
The 40-hour course, which runs until July this year, is taught by Professor Andréia Isabel Giacomozzi, a psychologist with a master's and doctorate in psychology from the Federal University of the state of Santa Catarina (UFSC).
The aim of the activities is to train facilitators for reflective groups aimed at women victims of domestic violence, in accordance with the Article 9, XVIII, of the Quality Award and Resolutions No. 124 of 2022 and 254 of 2018, both of the CNJ, as well as the Federal Law No. 14,448 of 2022.
