Prompt Engineering Professors Honored With Esmat Medallion

During the activities of the Prompt Engineering and Practical Applications of Generative AI (IAGEN) in Justice: from Theory to Decision course, Professors Haroldo Carneiro Leão Sobrinho and Irving William Chaves Holanda, as well as Justice Alexandre Freire Pimentel, received the Esmat Medallion on Friday (September 13th) from Justice Marco Villas Boas, General Director of Esmat. This is a tribute given to those who collaborate with the activities of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins to spread knowledge and develop scientific research.

About the course

The Prompt Engineering course aims to train magistrates and their legal advisors to understand and apply Generative Artificial Intelligence (GENI) systems in the judicial process, promoting the ethical, critical and effective use of this technology in the drafting of judicial decisions; it also reinforces the mission of Esmat to prepare justice professionals for future challenges, ensuring that new technologies are used critically and responsibly.
