Esmat And Digep Offer Course To Improve Care For People With Disabilities And Neurodivergents

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), in partnership with the Directorate of People Management (DIGEP), will be promoting a training course from September 24th to 27th on how to assist and welcome people with disabilities and/or neurodivergents. The course will be held via the Google Meet platform, from 4pm to 5.30pm, and it is aimed at civil servers, Judges, trainees, legal residents, outsourced civil servers and employees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins.

The training will be conducted by Juliana Barica Righini, a consultant, lecturer and mediator specialized in issues related to adults with intellectual disabilities. Registrations will be made through an indication in the specific SEI Process (no. 24.0.000013170-5) and then validated by the Academic Secretariat of Esmat.

The aim of the course is to raise awareness of the participants of the topics covered, as well as to provide theoretical and practical knowledge that will improve their skills in providing qualified care to people, especially those who do not fit into socially or culturally normed patterns of behavior.
