Esmat Holds First Meeting Of The Course On Theory And Practice: The Psychologist In The Context Of The Judiciary Of The State Of Tocantins

The course on “Theory and Practice: the Psychologist in the Context of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins - 2024”, aimed at civil servers linked to the Management Group of Multidisciplinary Teams of the TJTO (GGEM) and accredited psychologists who work in advising the claimant courts in judicial or administrative proceedings, had its first meeting on Monday (August 19th), in distance learning mode, and it will continue until October 11th.

The aim of the course is to train professionals in the field of psychology to develop the skills needed to deal with classes of action in judicial and administrative proceedings within the scope of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), by providing a theoretical and practical basis.

The 45-hour course is taught by facilitators Sônia Liane Reichert, Analícia Martins de Sousa and Lais Almeida Amaral and covers topics such as: the foundations of psychology within the legal context, psychological assessment and expertise, the foundations of document writing in the forensic context, among others.
