This Monday (July 8th), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) opens registrations for the initial training of professionals to implement the Anti-Asylum Policy in the Justice System in the State of Tocantins.

The result of the technical products produced by the Professional and Interdisciplinary Master's Degree in Judicial Provision and Human Rights (PPGPJDH/ESMAT-UFT), the training, coordinated by magistrate Allan Martins Ferreira, has the support of the Group for Monitoring and Inspection of the Prison System and the System for the Execution of Socio-Educational Measures (GMF).

For Judge Allan Martins, "holding this initial course is of the utmost importance for all health and justice professionals to level up their knowledge". In a comment, the magistrate also highlighted the importance of addressing basic issues about the anti-asylum policy, which is often the target of prejudice.

By integrating theory and practice in the context of the Anti-Asylum Policy, this course reflects the mission of the master's degree to improve judicial provision and guarantee human rights, contributing directly to the effective and humanized implementation of the guidelines of the Law No. 10.216, of 2001, and the Resolution No. 487 of the CNJ, of 2023, in the State of Tocantins.
