On Tuesday (May 21st), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) trained civil server and magistrates from the District of Araguaína on how to act in situations that require immediate help until they reach the Health Service.
The Basic Life Support course, now in its second year, lasted 4 hours and was taught by facilitators Elaine Cristina Ferreira and Bruno Ribeiro Rocha.
During the activities, the students learned about basic life support for victims of cardiopulmonary arrest; first aid for victims of fainting, convulsions and choking; first aid for victims of bleeding and hemorrhage, and for victims of burns.
On April 18th, class I was attended by 24 people in person at Esmat.
