On Thursday morning (March 21st), the theoretical stage of the Training of Exhibitors course for the Parenting and Divorce Workshop began in the city of Palmas. Participating in the training are Judges and civil servers from the Judiciary, Prosecutors, Public Defenders, Lawyers, Conciliators, Mediators, Psychologists, Social Workers, Pedagogues and guardianship Counselors.
The classes are taught by Professors Cristina Palason Moreira Cotrim and Fabiana Cristina Aidar da Silva, together with Co-teachers Lorena da Cruz Neves Pimenta Gutierrez and Wilvilândia Dalvino de Alencar Moura. The course is also being held in the city of Guaraí, which began on March 18th.
The aim of the training is to train, until August 31st, exhibitors at the Parenting and Divorce Workshop, developed by the National Council of Justice (CNJ) as a public policy for preventing and resolving family conflicts. This initiative is suggested to the courts in accordance with the Recommendation No. 50 of the National Council of Justice, of May 8th, 2014.
For student Sarah Raquel Franco, the activities of the workshop started off on the right foot. "The professors are great, we started by discussing the expansion of the methodology in Brazil and the importance of workshops as a tool for promoting a culture of peace. The concepts, objectives and methodologies presented were very clear and relevant," she said.
After the theoretical stage, the students from the cities of Guaraí and Palmas will participate in the practical stage, doing internships at the Cejusc, observing the schedule of parenting and divorce workshops assigned by the Judges of the family and civil courts in the district.
