Esmat Starts The Second Class Of The Course On "Mindfulness For Self-Care"

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) started, this Thursday (August 10th), the activities of the second class of the course on "Mindfulness for Self-Care". The initiative, consisting of eight face-to-face sessions, seeks to provide the participants with tools for mental well-being and promotion of integral health.

During the opening ceremony, the server and coordinator of the Center for Training and Improvement of Magistrates (NUFAM), Andreia Teixeira Marinho Barbosa, expressed her satisfaction with the course and highlighted the importance of this initiative. "This course was designed by Justice Pedro Nelson de Miranda Coutinho, with the aim of promoting the well-being of civil servers, aiming at the development of our work", she commented.


Taught by Professor Lucilene Prado e Silva, the course was specially developed for civil servers of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, assigned to Esmat. With an approach focused on mindfulness, the program aims not only to provide mindfulness techniques, but also to enable participants to deal more healthily with daily challenges.

The content of the course covers a number of topics relevant to the understanding and practice of mindfulness. With a total workload of 16 hours, the training will continue until September 28th.
