The students registered in the Organic Security (SEGOR) course started the month of July with an enriching learning opportunity. Promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), the training began on Monday morning (July 3rd).
The course is aimed at employees of the Judiciary, the Intelligence Center of the Justice System (NIS), and the Association of Magistrates of the State of Tocantins (ASMIL). Besides the students from the State of Tocantins, the training also receives the presence of students coming from different regions of Brazil, such as the States of Piauí, Amazonas, Maranhão, and Paraná.
With a total workload of 44 hours, the course is taught in person at Esmat. Justice Pedro Nelson de Miranda Coutinho was present and stressed the importance of the course for the analysis of security throughout the Judiciary.
"This course is important because it will bring a new perspective to the analysis of the entire security of the Judiciary, in all the districts and units. It will have a great impact because of the new paradigm, a more scientific analysis", he said.
The first class of the course was given in the morning by professor Waldicharbel Gomes Moreira, with the theme "Introduction to the Counterintelligence Branch". In the afternoon, professor Rondinei Alves Ribeiro will conduct the activities with the topic "Areas and Facilities Security". The course will continue until July 7, with classes taking place every day.
The main objective of the action is to train public servers who work or have some responsibility related to the area of Institutional Security of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, as well as partner agencies. The course aims to prepare the participants for the exercise of the functions and tasks inherent to the Organic Security segment, especially regarding the group of measures aimed at the security of areas and facilities.
