On August 3rd, the second class of the Introdutory Notions Course on Special Testimony and Specialized Listening of Children and Adolescents in the Justice System began in distance modality, through the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) from Esmat. Held by the School of Judges of Tocantins (ESMAT), the course lasts 20 hours and runs until September 11th.
The course is aimed at professionals accredited by the Justice Court (TJ), in the areas of Social Service, Pedagogy and Psychology, who work in the Multidisciplinary Team Manager Group (GGEM); (effective and commissioned) civil servers of Judiciary of Tocantins; tutelary conselours; servers of the Rights Guarantee System (Child and Adolescent Police Stations, Public Prosecutor’s Office, Public Defender’s Office and IML), and the proposal is to provide theoretical-practical subsidies to professionals who have skills and interest in acquiring knowledge about the basic notions of Special Testimony and Specialized Listening, elucidating the mais aspects and guiding principles of actions, in the area of Childhood and Youth, related to this practice by the Justice System.
Among the presented contentes, there are: Normative Reference of the Special Testimony and Specialized Listening – Law number 13.431, from 2017, and other regulation terms –; Overview of the problems related to the special hearing of children and adolescents who are victims of sexual crimes; Synthesis of the advantages of the special hearing of children and adolescents; Intervention of the technical team in the methodology of the Special Testimony and Specialized Listening.
