Registrations are open for the Training in Cejusc Management for Magistrates course

Aiming at training magistrates to perform the management in the Judicial Centers for Conflict Resolution and Citizenship (CEJUSCs) within the parameters of Resolutions 125 and 225 of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), as well as the Civil Procedure Code, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins launches, this Wednesday (19th) and runs until the 21st, the registration process for the Training in Cejusc Management for Magistrates EaD course.

Forty vacancies are being offered to magistrates from the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins. The course will have a total class load of 45 hours and will take place between May 24th and June 30th, 2021. Registration can be made at Esmat's Portal, and the classes will be held in the Distance Learning modality, at Esmat's Virtual Learning Environment (AVA).

Among the specific objectives of the course are: To understand the need to consolidate the Judiciary Policy for Adequate Treatment of Conflicts in the Judiciary of Tocantins; To align the work procedures and management goals based on the normative acts of NUPEMEC/TJTO; To know the several methods of conflict solution; To identify the necessary skills to coordinate a Cejusc; To apply specific management strategies in the Cejuscs; To differentiate the thematic diversity of the Cejuscs: Childhood and Youth, Criminal, Civil and Family areas; as well as understand its three sectors: procedural, pre-procedural and citizenship

About the professors:

Rodrigo Rodrigues Dias - PhD candidate in Law at the Vale do Rio dos Sinos University (UNISINOS). Master in Social Sciences from the Western Paraná State University (UNIOESTE). Bachelor of Laws from the University of São Paulo (USP). Judge in the Court of Children and Youth and Annexes of the City of Toledo/PR. Coordinator of the Judiciary Center for Conflict Resolution and Citizenship (CEJUSC) in the same County. Coordinating Judge of the Seventh Juvenile Court.

Eduardo Barbosa Fernandes - Graduated in Law from Federal University of Goiás, 1993. He is currently a law Judge at the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins. Judge coordinator of Cejusc in the judicial district of Arraias. He has experience in the area of Law. Master's student of the VI Class of the course in Jurisdictional Provision and Human Rights, held by the Federal University of Tocantins in partnership with the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins.

Vanessa Aufiero da Rocha - Judge at the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo for 21 years. Specialist in Mediation, by PUC-COGEAE-SP, and in Systemic Law, by Innovare College and the Hellinger Schule Institute. She attended the Train of Trainers course, level 1, Modules 1, 2 and 3, by Enfam. She is the titular Judge of the 2nd Family and Successions Court and coordinator of the Judicial Center for Conflict Resolution and Citizenship (CEJUSC), in the County of São Vicente, State of São Paulo. She developed the Parental Education program for the National Council of Justice, in 2013, to help families overcome the difficulties of divorce.

Luciana Yuki Fugishita Sorrentino - Law Judge of the TJDFT, since 2009. Assistant of the Second Vice-Presidency of the TJDFT. Coordinator of the Permanent Center for Mediation and Conciliation. Trainer of Judges, certified by the National School for Training and Improvement of Magistrates (ENFAM). She has special interest in the area of Public Policies of Adequate Treatment of Conflicts, Mediation, Conciliation and Humanization of the Access to Justice. Master in Public Administration, from Brasiliense Institute of Public Law (IDP), whose research is focused on the comparative analysis between the benefits of conciliation and the traditional process.
